  1. .               GRAPHTIME-II Business Graphics Package
  2. .               --------------------------------------
  3.                    (Hercules - monographic version)
  4.  GRAPHTIME-II is designed for use with dBASE II/III, Multiplan and LOTUS, but
  5.  can very easily be used on its own with data entered from the keyboard.
  6.  
  7.  The package consists of five main modules: Business Graphics (GRAPH) with
  8.  up to fourteen graph types, a full-screen graphics editor (DRAW) , a file
  9.  input/editor (FILE), a text and macro Editor (TEXTED), and plotter driver
  10.  (PLOT).
  11.  The graphics editor can be used to create free-form diagrams or to enhance a
  12.  previously generated graph.  You can select either arrow keys, joystick or
  13.  mouse to control the graphics cursor.

  15.  GRAPHTIME-II can be either menu or command driven, with an emphasis on
  16.  ease of use. Once data has been entered or transferred it can be modified in
  17.  many ways with the built-in mathematical functions such as trend and smooth.
  18.  All scales and labels are generated automatically with manual override.  A
  19.  macro facility (FM command) is included for commonly used command sequences
  20.  and to control slide shows.

  22.  One very useful feature is the UNDO (Fn 4) key. Any graph or calculation can
  23.  be reversed to the previous state. This allows for `what-if' experiments with
  24.  data manipulation, and removal of the last item drawn with the screen editor.

  26.  Display output from the Hercules version of GRAPHTIME-II is on the standard 
  27.  TTL monochrome monitor. (With the colour graphics adaptor fitted, output can
  28.  be on either colour or monochrome screens.) Note: A different version of
  29.  GRAPHTIME-II is required for colour output.

  37.     For each command and subcommand, enter only the first letter. File names,
  38.     labels and data values must be followed by the return key <RTN>.
  39.     To cancel a command press Esc key for most. Several require <RTN> key.
  40.     To enter a date use the format: Monthly: MM/YY.  Quarterly: Q/YY where
  41.     Q= 1 to 4,  and yearly: 1/YY.  To quit GRAPHTIME-II, press Fn 5 key or Q.
